5 Complexion boosting foods to add to your skincare routine

Nourish your skin from the inside out with these complexion boosting foods. No you don’t have to eat KGS of greens a day although you can if you want 🙂 these are foods you can easily add to your everyday diet for the extra boost your skin will love you for.
1. Chia seeds Rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants these little beauties help fight free- radical damage and against the early signs of ageing. A great smoothie or breakfast bowl booster.
2. Avocados High in healthy fats and contain vitamins E and C, which are important for healthy skin. Nutrient packed and full of health benefits. Another great smoothie booster, salad topper of if your like me I eat with a spoon like I do. Yum!
3. Water Yes water! Not technically a food but an absolute necessity for optimum skin and overall health. Water makes up 60 to 70 percent of our body weight and 70 percent of our skin so makes sense as to why its so vital. Add water rich food such as watermelon, cucumber, apple, and celery for an extra hydration boost.
4: Sunflower seeds An excellent source of nutrients, including vitamin E, which is an important antioxidant for the skin. Full of skin boosting goodness, add these to smoothies, salads, your baking and bliss balls.
5. Blueberries Packed full off Vitamin A,C and E these little babies are antioxidant rich, help fight against ageing and free radical damage. Pair these up with some almonds and you have a powerhouse skin loving snack literally in the palm of your hand.
