Natural Skincare Ingredients

Hey it’s been a while. I have been focusing all my free time and energy on my little business.

I thought I would share my latest blog post from the website you here too👇🏻

In the big wide world of skincare there is an overwhelming amount of choice and information. I am here to tell you why we chose natural, about some of our fave key ingredients and how they can help you.

If you are looking for an unrealistic transformation then this may not be the space for you. If you are looking to nourish, heal, protect and get your skin glowing naturally then stay right where you are.

As I am sure you are aware at Blush Essentials we are a 100% Natural, Cruelty Free and Vegan Skincare range. No nasties and NO BS!

Be aware that our products are made with natural ingredients and designed to be used on all skin types (including sensitive). Unlike many cosmeceuticals, they have been designed to treat and be effective on all skin types.

However certain ingredients suit different skin types better than others, so it’s important to be aware of what ingredients are in the products you are using and even more important to understand your skin type.

We have carefully designed our range to give everyone the best natural skincare ESSENTIALS with the choice to make specific adjustments and additions to suit your skin concerns.

The skin is the largest organ in the body and absorbs everything you put on it, it’s imperative that thought is given to what skin products you use.

”It has been scientifically proven that some of the body and cosmetic products we commonly use and expose ourselves to, contain ingredients that are linked to cancer, reproductive challenges, birth defects, asthmatic symptoms and skin allergies – just to name a few. Natural skin care products contain none of these health damaging ingredients.”

Natural skin care products contain health promoting ingredients that are packed full of vitamins and antioxidants and this is why we love our range so much.

I thought I would share some of my favourite natural ingredients and why they are so beneficial for your skin.

Aloe Vera – cooling, soothing, hydrating and helps heal sun damaged skin.

Green Clay – soaks up excess oil, balances pH levels and stimulates cell regeneration.

Zinc Oxide – a natural sun barrier which has healing and anti inflammatory properties.

Jojoba Oil  – which has anti-inflammatory properties, hydrates the skin and eases the negative effects of skin conditions like eczema and rosacea.

Cucumber – soothing and cooling, reduces inflammation, soothes irritated skin, hydrating and helps to improve the firmness of skin.

Hyaluronic Acid – hydrating and moisturising, assists in the production of collagen, helps the skin look plump, smooth, hydrated

Rosehip – nourishing, high in vitamin A, C & E, protects against harmful free radicals and is rich in essential fatty acids to help repair the skin.

Kaolin – cleanses and exfoliates, controls oil production and evens skin tone.

Pink clay – gentle, restorative, helps to restore and retain moisture and is full of minerals.

Lactobacillus –  a probiotic that aids in hydration, is moisturising and helps to restore a healthy pH balance to skin’s surface.

You will find all of these skin loving ingredients throughout our range here.
